Services for Anna Bernice Craighead Spencer, 78 of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Burial will follow at Box Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Spencer was born on October 6, 1940 in Gridley, California to Annie (Johnson) Davis and Cecil Davis and passed away on November 22, 2018 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
She is the daughter of Cecil Davis and Nannie Johnson Davis. She is the sister to Elder Dwayne Davis.
She was married to Jesse Eugene “Bull” Spencer on June 14, 1994 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on August 18, 1998.
She was a retired nurses aid and cook for Oklahoma Juvenile Affairs and an active member of Remnant Church of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors are:
1 daughter: Bethany Leeann Craighead of Owasso, OK
3 sons: Clayton Don Craighead, James Daniel Craighead and Tray Dalton Craighead, all of Vian, OK
16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren
5 sisters: Charlotte Jamison of Vian, OK, Gail Kightlinger of Vian, OK, Kathy Rolston of Sallisaw, OK, Louise Craghead of Vian, OK and Carol Armstrong of Vian, OK
3 brothers: Mike Davis of Vian, OK, Ricky Davis of Madison, NC and Charles Davis of Vian, OK
numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 sons: Troy and Stacy Craighead, 1 great grandchild: Tucker Emerson,1 sister: Baby Davis and 1 brother: Dewayne Davis
Active pallbearers will be Jesse Craighead, Chris Hill, Brett Buttery, Tracy Holt, William Armstead and Richard Henderson.
Viewing will be Noon – 8 pm Monday, 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
