Ann McKnight, 74, of New Whiteland, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018. She was born to Clayborn and Lake (Combs) Collins on January 18, 1944 in Whitesburg, Kentucky.
Ann married her lifetime sweetheart Walter R. McKnight on June 30, 1962. She spent her life being a homemaker. Ann enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was very active as a pastor’s wife in the church. She was dedicated to the youth in her church, Church of the Bible in Franklin.
Ann is survived by her husband of 56 years, Walter R. McKnight of New Whiteland; her children, Ricky McKnight of Whiteland and Tammy (Danny) Reynolds of Greenwood; her brother, Charles (Sandy) Collins of Somerset, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Clayborn and Lake (Combs) Collins; her brother, Don Collins, and her sister, Estelle Smith.
A visitation will be Wednesday, November 28th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Jessen Funeral Home, 729 N. U.S. Hwy 31, Whiteland, IN 46184. A service will be Thursday, November 29th at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Harris Cemetery in Bargersville.
