Sue was a class of '77 graduate of Mohawk and completed two years at ITT Technical Institute. Sue married Carl Phillips May 6, 1980, and together raised two daughters.
She leaves behind her husband Carl at home; daughter Katherine who is married to DJ Doughty and lives in Dameron Maryland; daughter Ann Phillips and fiancé' Anthony DeRose of New Springfield, Ohio; sister Timi Cost and husband Charles of Cowansville, Pennsylvania; brothers Lee Sheehan and wife Lou Anne of Bessemer, Russell Sheehan and wife Sally of Monaca, and Matt Sheehan also of Bessemer.
Sue was preceded in death by her father and nephew.
Sue's family will honor her wishes by holding a celebration of life for her at the Bessemer Croatian Club on Dec. 2, 2018, beginning at 2 p.m. Family also wishes to state that the atmosphere and attire be casual, an opportunity to share stories of Sue will be welcomed and if public speaking is uncomfortable, written memories will be read for you. Also Sue's love for her heritage, a hint of Irish would be appreciated by the family.
