Mrs. Lane was born on April 10, 1927, in South Dayton, New York, to Herbert and Pauline (Meyers) Welsh. She enjoyed quilting and needlecraft and was a tournament lawn bowler.
Survivors include a son, John M. Lane, of Port Byron, IL; two sisters: Rose Ruiz, of Florence, and Ruth Kessler, of Davenport, IA; seven grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert; and a daughter, Janet Morrison.
Visitation from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Florence. Funeral at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the church. Burial in Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Mesa.
