Nicholas “Nick” Wayne Walker, age 28, of Murfreesboro passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, TN.
Nick was born on February 21,1990 in Murfreesboro and was the son of David and Norma Jean Cole Walker.
Mr. Walker is survived by his parents David and Norma (Jeannie) Walker of Murfreesboro; sister Amanda (Jake) McBryar of Murfreesboro; grandparents Janice Walker of Columbia, KY, Gayle and Fred Strawn of Murfreesboro, TN, Norman Cole and Friend Michelle Flaherty of Lafayette, TN ; aunts and uncles Gail Walker of Columbia, KY, Jodi (Jason) Webb of Salt Lake City, UT, Mike (Doris) Walker of Columbia, KY, Andrew Strawn of Salt Lake City, UT, Melinda (Joey) Hackett of Red Boiling Springs, TN and Danny (Marlene) Adams of Smithville, TN.
Service to Celebrate Nicks life will be held on the afternoon of Thursday, October 11, 2018 at One O’clock at Roselawn Funeral Home in Murfreesboro with placement to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Nick worked in the construction field, and was a former member of Millwright Local #1554 in Nashville where he received numerous certificates of achievement in the trade. Nick loved to laugh and spend time with family. He really enjoyed the game of chess and loved video games. Nick had strong faith and loved reading the bible. He had a caring and loved to eat. It’s been said he loved his friends and cherished the friends that he had. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
The pallbearers for Nick will be JR Scalf, Blake Morton, Jake McBryar, Dwight Cole, Tristian McCarroll, Zack Boulanger, Jon Devore and Chase McBryar.
