William Neil Fraser May 25, 1932 - March 26, 2017 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our father and grandfather, William Neil Fraser on March 26, 2017 in Kamloops, BC. Born May 25, 1932 in Vancouver, BC, Neil started a paper route with the Vancouver Province in 1942 and paraded with the Seaforth Highlanders, rising to Drum Major. Graduating from Kitsilano High School in 1950, Neil joined Deeks-McBride (Lafarge Cement) as an office boy and quickly climbed the corporate ladder. Neil married Eleanor Shipman and over 12 years welcomed four children into the family. In 1971, Neil took a position in Toronto with the Masonry Contractors Association of Canada. In 1984, Dad met and married Marie Helm. They both enjoyed traveling, family history and the game of golf and were good companions. Dad and Marie ran the Clan Fraser Society of Canada for many years and donated the Society's substantial archival and genealogy papers to the University of Guelph in 2015. In 1990, Neil was appointed to the Ontario Labour Relations Board, a job he was proud of and continued until his retirement. Neil was strong, witty and intelligent. He will be greatly missed.

Neil was predeceased by his parents Katherine and James, brothers Jack and Ross, sister Barbara and son Gordon (2005). Neil leaves his wife and brother-in-law; two sons; one; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
