Vera Ethel Laswell Sanders, 91, resident of Middletown, passed away Monday morning at her residence. She was born in Indianapolis, January 18, 1927, the daughter of Roy Edison and Dora Brown Laswell.

She was a 1945 graduate of Middletown High School and owned and operated Vera's Doll House for 32 years. She was a member of the Honey Creek United Methodist Church and attended Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church. She was a member of the Honey Creek Home Economics Club, 4 winds Doll club, and the Doll Club Federation.

Survivors are her children: Larry (Sue Horan) , Robert Anthony (Tony) wife Gigi , Jeff (Susan) and Amy all of Middletown and Susie Rankin (Jack) of Muncie, 6 grandchildren 3 step grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, sister in law: Linda J. Sanders of New Port Richey, FL, several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her caregivers: Courtney Surber, Fay Griffith and Joyce Lawson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Glenn Robert, sister: Velma Branson and a daughter: Barbara.

Services will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Steve Arnett officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown. Friends may call on Friday from 11-2 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church.
