                    WHAT IS SAID
    L. J. Smith: In death of Mrs. Emma Berkley, mother of B. M. Berkley, we are losing one of sweetest women Hamlin, vicinity has ever known. She was loved by all. It was said of her by many she could get along with anyone. If all of us, including nations, were more of her disposition, there would be no trouble anywhere, would be no wars with all its suffering. May we allow her life, example to be multiplied in us.
