Charles Kelly, aged 65, of Canonsburg R. D. 2, died in the Canonsburg hospital yesterday shortly after noon. He had been in poor health for about a year but was critically ill for only about a week. He was well known in this vicinity, having been an employe of the Canonsburg Steel Iron works until it ceased operations a few years ago.
Funeral services will be held at the Hinton Funeral home, West Pike street, Saturday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, and will be in charge of the Rev. R. S. Harding, pastor of the First Methodist church. Burial will be in Oak Spring cemetery.
He is survived by the following children: Mrs. William Smiddle, of Houston; Milford and Otis at home, and also leaves two brothers and six sisters: Guy Kelly, of Parkersburg, W. Va.; Edward Kelly, of Canonsburg; Mrs. Charles Dible of East Pittsburgh: Mrs. John Meyers, of North Braddock; Mrs. Edward Crumble and Mrs. Alex. Wright, of McKeesport; Mrs. Albert Stucki and Mrs. Albert Gamble, of Canonsbnrg.
