Maggie Elise Young passed from this life Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, in the loving care of Blessed HomeCare in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
She was born Aug. 22, 1938, in Bloomington Springs, Tennessee, to the late Robert Leon and Eliza (Flatt) Dyer.
Maggie was a loving wife, mom and granny. She was a wonderful cook, seamstress and housekeeper.
Maggie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ralph Ordue Young; two children, Wanda Gail and her husband, Larry Phye, and Jeffery Randall and his wife, Lisa Young; four grandchildren, Heather Michelle and her husband, Jimmy Knox, Michael Brandon and his wife, Stephanie McGuire, Matthew Tyler and his wife, Chelsie Young, and Katheryn Hope and her husband, Johnny Keith; eight great-grandchildren, Donavon Hamlett, Sam McGuire, Dylan Knox, Kam McGuire, Nora Young, Elijah McGuire and Hannah and Henry Keith; two sisters, Jewell Flatt and Reba Kinnaird; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Maggie was preceded in death by six brothers; a sister; and several nieces, nephews and family.
Bros. Ralph Richardson and Jimmy Knox will officiate at the services.
