He is survived by his wife, Audree Penner, of the home, and formerly of Kansas City, Missouri, and his father Dr. Louis Bell of Ashburn, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his mother Marlene Bell (née Solomon) who passed away in March 2018.
He leaves behind his sisters Alisa Bell of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Susan Bell Reilly of Fairfax, Virginia, as well as numerous close family members and relations in Missouri, Kansas, Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, Washington state, Florida, California, New York, and London, England.
Mark, who graduated from Drexel University and worked as an accountant for the Teamsters for more than 25 years, also leaves behind many family members and friends who already miss his easygoing friendly nature and laughter.
Mark is missed by his and Audree’s two cats whom he adored and cared for greatly! He was a staunch supporter of Israel and hoped for yet another return visit there after having lived there for a time and made return visits over the years.
As a literal lifelong Jersey shore enthusiast, family, and decades-long friends will miss hanging out with him at the beach each summer.
He was always quick to help a family member, friend or acquaintance with a need and without a question.
The many nature paths of the world will miss his footsteps.
