Judy M. Stephens, age 60, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends on Monday, October 15, 2018.

Judy was born on May 17, 1958 in Cartersville, GA, daughter of the late Luke Ledford and Viola R. Ledford Lee.

Judy was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and a proud and active member of Clear Creek Baptist Church where she served in the Ladies Sunday School Class and The Ladies Circle. Her church family meant the world to her, but most of all, she loved her Jesus. In her spare time she loved tending to her flower gardens, fishing and mowing the grass. 

Judy is preceded in death by her step-father, Frank Lee; sister, Mary Ellen Holcomb; brother, Richard Ledford; mother-in-law, Myrtle J. Stephens.

Survivors include her loving husband of thirty-nine years; a daughter; two brothers; her father-in-law; sister-in-law and brother in-law; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service was conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 18th of October, 2018 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home the Rev. Donnie Summey, Rev. David Summey and Rev. Bradford Thomas officiated. Interment immediately followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Served as Pallbearers are Scott Duvall, Joe Hite, Jack Darnell, Mike Kiser, Ricky Sanford and Joe Hazelwood.

Honorary Pallbearers were all male members of Clear Creek Baptist Church.

Friends were cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock in the evening until eight on Wednesday, the 17 of October, 2018 at Owen Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for the cemetery marker.
