ROSEMARY WYATT, age 79, passed peacefully Monday afternoon, November 19, 2018 after a long illness. Rosemary was born October 16, 1939 to Albert James Wingate Sr. and Ruby Mayfield in Grand Rapids, MI. She was a member of Greater Harvest Missionary Baptist Church. Rosemary was married to Nathan Wyatt on July 16, 1970 and they shared 48 years together. She lovingly cherished her family and enjoyed spending quality time with them. Mrs. Wyatt retired from Mercy Hospital (formerly Muskegon General Hospital) after 32 years of service. She had many interests: sewing, quilting, gardening, making jewelry, traveling, watching tennis, playing hand-held games and loved preparing family meals.
Rosemary leaves to cherish in precious memory: her beloved husband, Nathan Wyatt; daughter Kandi Morris Hamilton (Houston, Texas); daughter Robin Lee Cole (Livonia, MI); son Rickey Wyatt, (Muskegon Heights); special daughter Portia Kidd (Muskegon); grandchildren-- Nicole, Shannon, Bobbie, Ashley, Mason, Madison and Myricle; great grandchildren-- Jada, Aubrielle, Brandon and Christian; special cousin Ruby Robinson; special sister Willie Bea "Smitty" Smith; many nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives & friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, brother, sister, father, son and a great-grandson.
FUNERAL SERVICE was held 1:30 pm, Saturday November 24, 2018 at Greater Harvest Missionary Baptist Church, 2435 Riordan St. Muskegon Hts.- Pastor Raymond Settles officiated. VISITATION was prior to the service, 12:30-1:30 pm.
Interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements by The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI
