Bonnie Kay Parker was born September 1, 1930 in Cuero, Texas to Esker & Mable (Thigpen) Morrow. She worked as an office manager for a cable television company. Bonnie loved to quilt and work in her yard. From 1998 to 2011, she volunteered many hours of her time in the Son Shine Center in Madisonville. Bonnie most loved being “Nana” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had lived all of her adult life in Madisonville and was a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville.
Bonnie passed away November 23, 2018 in Madisonville, Texas. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; all of her siblings and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by husband, L.C. Parker of Midway; son and daughter-in-law, Joe & Debbie Parker of Texarkana; daughter and son-in-law, Kay & Raymond Byrd of Magnolia; grandchildren, Dana Whitmire (Wayne), Brian Byrd, Ashley Graves (Michael) and Justin Parker and great grandchildren, Hudson and Grayson Whitmire, Genevieve and Jon-Paul Leonard Graves and one on the way.
Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas.
