Carl Dean (Dino) Bell, 68, of Waverly, IL died Thursday, November 8, 2018 at his home in Waverly, IL. He was born February 18, 1950 in Springfield, IL to Carlos and Doris (Cardnduff) Bell. He married Della Alexander on September 25, 1970 at the Loami Christian Church in Loami, IL.

He was a graduate of New Berlin High School and spent several years as an over the road truck driver. He was referred to as a “Jack of All Trades” by all those who knew and loved him. He loved spending quality time with is wife, kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Carl enjoyed working on cars and driving fast. He liked to pass time watching westerns and old black and white movies with his beloved four legged companions Petey and Max.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, 2 uncles, aunt, 2 sisters, nieces, and cousins. Survivors include: his wife, Della; daughters, Dena (Mike Emmons) Bell of Loami, IL, Dia (Aaron) Curtis of Waverly, IL, Darlene (Travis Steele) Bell of Loami, IL, Jade Bell of Waverly, IL; son, Dean Bell of Waverly, IL; sisters, Debbie and Cheryl of Springfield, IL; brother, Steve (Vicki) Bell of Springfield, IL; 9 grandchildren, Hunter (Emma), Brenden, Chrystian, Elex, Kylee, Byntlee, Stephie, and Eliana; 2 great grandchildren, Hayden and Kenden.

A celebration of Carl’s life will be held November 17, 2018 from 1-4pm at the First Baptist Church, Waverly, IL.
