She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Carrollton, Vesta Chapter No. 5, O.E.S., and a charter member of the Daughters of the Union.
She is survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Burnside and Mrs. Maureen Smith; one step-granddaughter, Mrs. Pamela Kelly; and one step-grandson, Mr. John M. Burnside. She is also survived by three nieces, Mrs. Ethel Teegarden, Knoxville MO, Mrs. Zelma Kinder, and Mrs. Thelma Knutter, both of Warsaw MO; one nephew, many great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great nieces, great-great-nephews and great-great-great-niece and nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and a nephew, Estel Butler of Knoxville MO. Funeral services were conducted by Reverend Jim West at 10:00 AM Saturday at the Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton.
