Pinnie Rebecca Morrison was born July 10, 1910, near Taitsville, MO in Ray Co. She departed this life May 27, 1999 at the age of 88 years. She was the daughter of James and Ida (McElwee) Butler. She was married to Ernest C. Morrison on October 5, 1962. They lived on the farm until his death on March 11, 1990.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Carrollton, Vesta Chapter No. 5, O.E.S., and a charter member of the Daughters of the Union.

She is survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Burnside and Mrs. Maureen Smith; one step-granddaughter, Mrs. Pamela Kelly; and one step-grandson, Mr. John M. Burnside. She is also survived by three nieces, Mrs. Ethel Teegarden, Knoxville MO, Mrs. Zelma Kinder, and Mrs. Thelma Knutter, both of Warsaw MO; one nephew, many great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great nieces, great-great-nephews and great-great-great-niece and nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and a nephew, Estel Butler of Knoxville MO. Funeral services were conducted by Reverend Jim West at 10:00 AM Saturday at the Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton.
