MR EDMUND HILL. Mr Edmund Hill, licensee of the Empire Hotel, Lyttelton, died yesterday morning in the auxiliary hospital, Lyttelton, after a few days illness. The deceased, who was 53 years of age, made many friends during his residence in the Port. He wag a member of the Presbyterian Church, and the interment will take place in the Presbyterian portion of the Public Cemetery to-day. As a mark of respect, flags were flown halfmast on the licensed promises at Lyttelton yesterday. Press 19 November 1918 Page 2
