Matthews, Cynthia B., 57, of Hyde Park, died peacefully Oct. 30, due to an extended illness at Copley Hospital in Morrisville with her family by her side.
Cindy was born Dec. 1, 1948, in Roxbury, the daughter of Betty Neun Lovely and Edwin Buck.
She was a graduate of Northfield High School. She married Bruce Matthews in Roxbury in 1985. Cindy was employed by Sweet & Burt/Ultramar Oil Company for 19 years.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce B. Matthews; loving godson, Cory A. W. Miner of Waterbury; her mother, Betty Neun Lovely and devoted stepfather, Ralph E. Lovely of Barre; her brother, "Skip" Neun Buck and his wife, Meryl, of Brookfield, their daughter and her two sons.
She was predeceased by her father, Edwin Buck, and grandmother, B. Mabel Neun.
