Our beloved and beautiful Laura Lynn Bradford Howe, 36, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 19, 2018, after a brave and spirited battle with cancer.
She was born on May 2, 1982, in Bountiful, Utah, to Richard and Karen (Bushman) Bradford, the fourth of five daughters. She graduated from Woods Cross High School in 2000, BYU-Idaho in 2002, and BYU in 2005. While in school, she worked as a server at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. She then worked at Real Foods Market where she was the personal care buyer. In 2009, she became certified as an esthetician.
In 2010, she founded her own skincare company, Salís Skincare, and developed organic skincare products that are sold worldwide. She was passionate about helping people with their skin and loved giving facials to her clients, friends and family.
On July 29, 2016, she married Taylor Bryant Howe in the Salt Lake Temple. After their honeymoon, they began their marriage with her chemotherapy treatments. None of this stopped her from enjoying life with her husband, family and friends. They went on numerous fun vacations, including a visit to her parents who were serving a temple mission in France, and then to Italy and Switzerland where she and Taylor went paragliding in the Swiss Alps.
She was a vivacious and beautiful woman who had a passion for life and carried boundless energy into every gathering with her various friends and family. She reached out to many people and offered assistance in simple but effective ways. She also had a special gift to soothe and comfort young children and looked forward to the day she could adopt and become a mother.
She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Most recently, she and Taylor adored being Primary teachers to a fun group of children who loved their trampoline parties.
She and Taylor are grateful for the loving support and generosity from many friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Taylor Howe; four sisters including Cherilyn Bradford, Julie Bradford, Lisa (Jesse Hunsaker), and Rebecca (Richi Delgado); her parents; Taylor's parents, Bryant and Sandra Howe; Taylor's siblings and spouses; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Woods Cross North Stake Center, 1509 W. 1500 S., Woods Cross. A viewing will be held Monday evening, Nov. 26, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, and Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Church before the funeral.
