Sally A. Dixon, 85, formerly of Odessa, MO passed away peacefully on Friday, November 23, 2018 at her home in Columbia, MO. The family will receive friends from 10-11: a.m., on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral service will start at 11:00 a.m., at the chapel. Sally was born on April 19, 1933 in Nevada, MO to Robert and Doris (Griffith) Kramer. She was united in marriage to William Dixon on December 25, 1949. Sally was a member of the First Faith Baptist Church in Columbia. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and caring for others. Sally truly cherished the time she spent with her family.
Survived by her husband, William Dixon of Columbia, MO; daughters, Peggy Dixon of Columbia, MO, Sheila Youger (Doug) of Independence, MO; grandchildren, Flechia Spalding, Justin Willig, Nathan Willig; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Caleb Spalding, Cuillin and Thorin Willig, Wylie Hunter, Tayte Gibson, Layni Willig; and brother, Robert Kramer of Lee’s Summit, MO.
