Lola King Stephens age 84 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born February 16, 1934 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Luther and Jessie Burton King. She was the wife of Jim Stephens, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Stelson Stephens of Winchester, Kentucky, three daughters, Barbara Casebolt and Cleta (Ronnie) Russell both of Salyersville, Kentucky, and Shirley (Vandel) Howard of Winchester, Kentucky, two brothers, Lucian King of Salyersville, Kentucky and Forrest King of Ohio, two sisters, Viola Mullins of Lee City, Kentucky, and Jenova Harvey of Salyersville, Kentucky, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Lola was a member of the Keith Memorial Tabernacle.

In addition to her husband, Lola is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert King and Hurley King, two sisters, Nola Lykins and Luna Roark, and one grandchild, Casey Leeann Stephens.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with David Jackson and Brian Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Stephens Cemetery at Cow Creek, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 5 pm Monday, November 26, 2018 and anytime Tuesday prior to funeral services.
