Theodore Spencer, 85, of Tioga, WV passed away on
Saturday, November 24, 2018, in the Summersville
Regional Medical Center. Born December 20, 1932, at
Tioga, he was a son of the late Dewy and Hettie Mullins
Spencer. He was also preceded in death by his wife,
Dana Carol Spencer, his brother, Troy Spencer, and his sister, Luvonne Pitts.

He was a member of the Beaver Freewill Baptist
Church at Craigsville where he served as a deacon,
retired coal miner, and was a member of the UMWA.

Survivors include five children, Beverly (Rick) Beam of
Richwood, Robert “Bob” Spencer of Craigsville, Kathy
(Ed) Collins of Harpers Ferry, Patricia (Tim) Carlson of
Sparta, OH, and Vicki Spencer (Randy Belt) of Lundy,
MD; siblings, Betty Curry of Tioga and Ruth Gilmore of
Burlington, NC; twelve grandchildren and nine great
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday,
November 30, 2018, in the Beaver Freewill Baptist Church
at Craigsville with Pastor Mike Malcomb, officiating.
Interment will follow in the WV Memorial Gardens at
Calvin.

Friends may call at the White Funeral Home in
Summersville on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made in his honor
