Nancy was born Oct. 28, 1941 at Pana, Illinois, the daughter of T.A. and Virginia Gordon Wallace. She married Larry W. Blackburn on July 3, 1960 in Coffeen, Illinois. He survives.
She is also survived by her children, Rodney (Tracy) Blackburn of Sadorus, Missy (Jamie) Chitwood of White Heath and Mindy (Jim) Bragg of Carmargo; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Patty Forbes of Springfield and Carol (Mark) Myers of Carlinville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She retired from the University of Illinois in 2004 from the residence halls. She was a member of the local and county Home Community Education and a past worthy matron of the Tolono Masonic Lodge.
She enjoyed showing sheep at numerous county fairs and collecting Jewel Tea dishes. Most of all, Nancy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events.
