Michael Allen Parrott, 53, of Madisonville, Kentucky, formerly of Evansville, Indiana, died at 1:30 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2007, at his residence in Madisonville.
Michael was born February 17, 1954, in Evansville, Indiana, to Jack and Doris Parrott. He was a graduate of Reitz High School. Michael worked as an optician for many years and was a postal worker for Lockheed Martin.
He is survived by one daughter,Erin Leigh Hoots and her husband, Donald, of Evansville; his mother, Doris (Epley) Parrott of Evansville; his partner, Jeff Jones of Madisonville, Ky.; two half sisters, Nikki Warren and her husband, David, and Kristi Stobaugh and her husband, Rob, both of Kentucky; a half brother, Regan Parrott and his wife, Brandy, of Kentucky; one granddaughter, Whitney Gough of Evansville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Parrott in 2005.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2007, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue, with Pastor Dan Sigler officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Rumsey, Kentucky.
