A funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Rose E. LaMon, 92, who died in Vancouver Sunday, Oct. 27, 1996. She had worked as a waitress at Thiele's restaurant in Portland for many years.

Mrs. LaMon was born Oct. 31, 1903, in Hardman, Ore. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Union Pacific Old Timers Club.

Survivors include her husband, Henry L., at home; two sons, Jack Leathers of Roseburg, Ore., and Marion Leathers of Hermiston, Ore.; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Columbian, Wednesday, October 30, 1996
