Mr. James R. Robison, 58, of Michigan City, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at 8:45 p.m. at his home.
He was born June 29, 1946, in Carlsbad, N.M., to Donald and Aileen (Moore) Cook.
Mr. Robison was a department manager at Lowe's. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
On Sept. 7, 1976, in Laurel, Md., he married Jacqueline Groll, who survives.
Also surviving are his father of Miami, Okla.; one daughter, Cheri Jackson of Portales, N.M.; one son, John of Artesia, N.M.; five grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Courson of Arizona and Jane Pittman of Carlsbad; and one brother, Eric Cook of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, with Rev. Patrick Ryan officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service. Cremation will follow.
