Jerry Joseph Marshall, 60, of Rice Lake died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at his farm. He was born October 26, 1958 in Rice Lake, WI to Charles and Betty (Sweeney) Marshall, was raised in the area graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1977. Jerry married Susan Hanson in 1979, they had 3 children. He remarried on July 19, 1993 to Ann (Mathews) Gonyer. He farmed his entire life, worked masonry, roofing, and at the feed mill in Rice Lake for several years. Jerry enjoyed time fishing and hunting with family and friends. He always had a truck full of snacks for his "little visitors". He will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife, Ann of Rice Lake; children: Jason (Jamie) Marshall, Eric Marshall and Kayla Marshall, all of Rice Lake; step children: Matthew (Chelsea) Gonyer of Chippewa Falls and Justin Gonyer of Madison; grandchildren: Carter Marshall, Hoyt Marshall, Sawyer Marshall, Aspen Marshall, Ayden Salas, Mason Marshall, McKenna Gonyer and Asher Gonyer; siblings: Charlene Dostal of Chippewa Falls, Clara (Kevin) Saffert of Cumberland, Theresa (Jeff) Kamrath of Rice Lake, James Marshall of Rice Lake and Virginia (Carl) Lihrman of Rice Lake; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kenny.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 26, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church - Rice Lake with Father Ed Anderson officiating. Burial will be on Jerry's Farm. Pallbearers are Paul Marshall, Adam Kamrath, Jordan Saffert, Shane Lihrman, Michael Lihrman, Ryan Kalina, and Nate Wirth. Serving as honorary pallbearer is Joey Dvorak. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday at the Skinner Funeral Home in Rice Lake and for 1 hour prior to the Mass on Monday at the church.
