He attended Christian Church of Spencer with his housemates in the group home. He collected baseball hats, ink pens and coins; worked at Sweet Owen Industries and Stonebelt of Bloomington over the years. John liked to go shopping and eat out at Wee Willies.
John is survived by his brother, Howard (Grace) Langley of Mooresville; nieces and nephews, Sara (John) Wheeler of Spencer, Diana (Mike) Harvey of Spencer, Ivan Langley of Spencer, Mike (Elainia) Langley of Mooresville, Angie (Joe) Faulice of Peach Tree City, GA and Pam (Ron) Barnes of Henryville and several great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack Langley, John "Tom" Thomas Langley, Jr. and Keith Dunn.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home on Sunday, November 25, 2018. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until the time of service on Sunday. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
