Billy Glen Broughton, 53, of Denison, Texas passed away on Friday, May 6, 2005 after a brief illness at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 8, 2005 at the Dannel Funeral Home from 7 until 8:00pm
A private interment will be at a later date.
Billy was born on March 28, 1952 in Sherman, Texas to Kenneth L. Broughton and Royce Gann Broughton.
He was a 1970 graduate of Sherman High School.
He was a longtime land surveyor for Hulvey and Associates of Denison, Texas.
On August 2, 1975 he married Donna Lewis at Trinity Baptist Church in Sherman, Tx.
He was preceded in death by his father; Kenneth L. Broughton and father in law and mother in law, Jim W. and Judy Lewis of Denison, Tx.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Broughton of Denison, Tx.
His mother; Royce Broughton Pickard of Sherman, Tx.
Sister; Martha and Don Weaver of Denison. Tx.
Neice; Stacey and Michael Greenway of Denison, Tx.
Nephew; Scottey Weaver of Denison, Tx.
Great Nephew; Codey Greenway of Denison, Tx.

Our Bill had a great love for his family and a vast number of friends.
His outgoing personality, love of life and extra special sense of humor made him a magnet for people.
He and Donna were members of the Lonestar Corvette Club and spent many weekends on the race track.
