She had thirteen siblings, namely: Thomas James, Sarah, William Pearson, Elizabeth Jane, Emily, Susannah, Esther, Ernest James, Thomas James, John, David, Lillian, and Edith. She died on 04 May 1978 in Highgate Hill, Queensland, Australia (Cedar Lodge Nursing Home). When she was 22, she married Henry McGuinness,son of James McGuinness and Honorah (Nora) Kelly, on 25 Oct 1922 in Yarraman, Queensland, Australia. When she was 48, she married Charles Henry Stace,son of Harrey Stace and Elizabeth Smith, about 1949 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
