Delores B. (Wingert) Stephens, 88, of Allentown, died Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township. She was the wife of the late Ernest L. Stephens. They were married 51 years before his passing in 2000. Born in Fountain Hill, June 15, 1930, Delores was the daughter of the late Peter Wingert and Gertrude (Washburn) Saylor. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Delores loved her dogs, roller skating, quilting, baking, and reading.
Survivors: Daughter, Vicky Groller of Conway, SC; granddaughters, Megan Oswald–Held (Joseph) of Allentown, Tara Bierbauer (Craig) of Allentown, Tiffany Groller of Conway, SC; predeceased by a daughter, Terry L. Oswald and siblings, Peters J. Wingert, Elenore G. Stair, and Dorothy M. Solosky.
Service: Funeral services will be held 10:30 am. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
