Services for Billy Wayne "BW" Stanley of Ore City will be at 2:00 P.M., November 23, 2018 at Grubbs-Loyd Chapel, with Brother Tony Pierce officiating.

Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery. He passed away on November 21, 2018 at his residence. .

Billy was born August 1, 1933 in Upshur County, Texas to Desmar and Myrtle May Stanley. He was self-employed with many occupations such as restaurant owner, rodeo organizer, auctioneer and pulpwood hauler. Billy was a devoted, loving husband, father and grandfather. He showed that love by being a faithful provider and always ready to help his family with whatever the need. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Ore City.

Billy is survived by daughters: Carolyn Stroman and husband Joey, Mary Fell and Janet Stanley, grandchildren: Deanna, Scotty, John David, Timmy, Tommy Jr., Stephanie, Brett, Rikki Jo and Jacob, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Myrtle Lee Stanley, sons: Johnny Stanley and Tommy Stanley, daughter: Judy McLendon, 6 brothers and one sister.
Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
