Mr. Martin was employed by Summit Recycling as a truck drive. He was a truck driver for 65 years; which he took great pride in.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Joyce T. Martin; children Christy M. Urbaniak (Kerry), Sandra L. Brown (Glen), Teresa B. Young (Ernie), and Jeffrey A. Brooks (Susan); eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings Walter Martin, Patricia Huntington, Dorothy Deloach, Lucy Robertson, and George Martin; and his beloved dog, Scooter. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Goldie Martin; and three siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 1 at Round Oak Baptist Church, 15025 Pepmeier Hill Road, Woodford, VA 22580. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Round Oak Baptist Church.
