Our loving, sweet Virginia “Ginny-Sue” Ulrich Oliver, age 87, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2018, in Bountiful, Utah.

Virginia was born January 13, 1931, to Susie Arnold Ulrich and Edward Clarence Ulrich. She grew up in Vero Beach and White City, Florida with her two brothers, Edward “Eddie” Alfred Ulrich and Charles Vincent Ulrich.

She later married the love of her life, Norman M Oliver in 1952 in the Salt Lake City Temple. The couple lived in Roy, Utah and Cutler Ridge, Florida, where they raised their four children. They ultimately settled in Roy, Utah. She was a devoted and loving mother. She eventually became Grandma to 12 grandchildren and Grandma Great to many great grandchildren.

She was a hard worker and enjoyed her job as a dental hygienist and calling as the ward chorister and various other callings in the LDS church. Virginia’s many hobbies included genealogy, taking pictures, scrapbooking, traveling the world with her husband, and talking. She was known for her smile, loving demeanor, and ability to talk anyone’s ear off. She was a comfort to many and loved making people happy. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her four children and their families: Dusty “Lynn” Oliver, Paula Anderson, Gilbert (Janet) Oliver, and Virleen (Deven) Ferre. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, and both brothers.

A special thanks to her granddaughters Alexandria “Ally” Lounsbury and Chantal Fitzpatrick for the countless hours of loving care they gave to their grandmother. We would also like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Bishop Dane Black, Bishop Chad Zito, Laurie Smith, JoLeigh Kerr, and Nicole Hennefer for all their love and support throughout the years.

A viewing will be held Monday, June 25, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 5865 S. 1900 W., Roy, Utah. Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, June 26 at 10:00 am at the Roy City Cemetery, 5200 S. 2300 W., Roy, Utah. A luncheon will be held after the services at 12:00 pm at the Hidden Lake LDS Ward Building, 4275 Bountiful Boulevard, Bountiful, Utah.
