Howard J. "Howie" Neiter of Harrisburg, Pa. passed away Tuesday November 20, 2018 at Premier at Susquehanna, Millersburg, Pa. He was born March 27, 1932 at Toronto, Ohio to the late Fred and Ida Smeltz Neiter. He was a Army Veteran of the Korean War, member of the Carlisle AmVets #274 and Teamsters Union #776.
Howard is survived by two sons Thomas and Timothy Neiter, two daughters Deb Helman and Kathy Cawthern, a brother Luther, two sisters Mildred Rothermel and Jean Feidt and numerous grand and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Earl, Donald and Ray, sisters Helen Zyry and Faye Neyer.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. from the John R. Shultz Funeral Home, 406 Market St., Lykens, Pa. with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. There will be a viewing from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will be in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco, Pa. John R. Shultz Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
