Donna McLaughlin of Solebury Township, Pa. passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, at Doylestown Hospital. She was 71. Born in New York City on Nov. 21, 1946, Donna was raised in Philadelphia, where she met the man who would be her husband of 50 years, Ed McLaughlin. They were soon married and she joined him on the USAF base in Okinawa. They returned home to Philadelphia, where they were graced with three sons, Edward III, Michael, and Timothy. After several moves in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, they settled in Solebury Township in 1991. She was a woman with a loving heart who lived her life to care for her loved ones and a vivid spirit that brightened the world. Her loss will be felt tremendously by those that loved her.
Daughter of the late James and Claire Biglan, Donna is survived by her husband and three sons; her sons spouses, Jaime, Allison, and Binka; two brothers, James Biglan Jr. and Thomas Biglan; her sister, Susan Fratoni; and seven grandchildren, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Connor, Ella, Catherine, Aidan, and Carina.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday Nov. 23, at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 44 Bridge St., Lambertville, N.J. Burial will follow at a later date at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.
