Julius S. Kerekes, age 96 of Walton Hills, OH passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018. Julius was the beloved husband of Grace J. (nee Layer), loving father of Kenneth D. Kerekes and Linda Harms, dear grandfather of Brett Harms, loving brother of the late Mary Kontur, Margaret Maloney, Clara Keri, Joe Kerekes, Edward Kerekes, Anna Novak and William Kerekes, brother-in-law of Edwin (Virginia) Layer Jr. and Joyce (Raymond) Tinter..

Julius proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Julius was a graduate of Bedford High School and he and his wife were longtime members of St. Mary Church and members of the Bedford Historical Society. They were also avid square dancers and ballroom dancers.

The family will receive friends/family 2-4PM & 6-8PM MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2018 at JOHNSON-ROMITO FUNERAL HOME, 521 Broadway Ave., Bedford, OH (440-232-1441).

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00AM Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 340 Union St. Bedford, OH. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.) Interment Bedford Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the church.
