The Best of everything. His family was his life. Everything he did was for his wife kids or grandkids . The Best Dad ever. He helped make model rockets , model gas airplanes, build kites, I was horrible at baseball , he took me to the batting cages daily til I was cleanup batter (4th up) for the rest of little league. fix cars, swap engines, straighten out wheels from 4 wheeling, He taught me me to set up differentials. He helped me at my business so it could survive . later he was still helping by being supportive. Always teaching me something new about machining.
He loved skiing, fishing and great food. He loved In and Out Hamburgers . He was a mastermind Tool and Die maker Machinist. one in a million. He made being a machinist look easy. he was so smart and kind. always there when you needed him.
In WWII He was a top turret machine gunner and a flight Engineer in a B24 liberator he flew 40 missions in the pacific mostly over Iwo Jima 27 missions . he achieved the rank of technical Sergeant with Distinguished flying cross, Air Medal x6 , Good conduct, Asiatic pacific campaign, American campaign, Gunners wings (marksman Browning 50 Caliber), airplane mechanic, sharpshooter carbine, Victory WWII.
We all miss him so much but hes in a better place with Jesus.
