He was born September 14, 1963 in Madisonville, KY to Dianne Kittinger and the late Ronald Eugene Dunlap. Ron was a veteran of the United States Army. He served three years at Fort Sill Army Base in Lawton, Oklahoma. Ron was a certified artillery mechanic, and he was also a skilled construction contractor.

His passions were fishing, hunting, and cooking. Ron was a bass fishing tournament champion. He also enjoyed playing golf. He attended Hillvue Heights Church in Bowling Green, KY. He loved the Lord, his family and his country.

His final resting place will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Hopkinsville.
