Clara Murray was born on June 4, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York and passed away peacefully on November 13, 2018. She was the youngest of six children, Veronica, Ruth, John, and the twins – Edwin and Anthony. Clara and Jerry were married on October 4, 1953 and together for 49 years. She worked as an executive assistant for the Vice President of General Electric. Deciding to retire after fifteen years to start a family, Clara gave birth to her first child, Jeffrey on July 31, 1964. A big surprise came ten months later when her second child, Geralyn was born on May 7, 1965. Following with her husband, Gerard, (Jerry) Murray, whom served as a police officer and then specializing with the bomb and drug K-9 unit, retired from the Metropolitan Police Dept. The two made their way to the Sunshine State of Florida where they would live out the remainder of their lives together.

Clara is survived by her son Jeffrey and her daughter, Geralyn along with her granddaughter Ashlyn. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and sixteen great nieces and nephews. Clara found the most enjoyment in helping others and making people smile and laugh. All those that knew and loved her will dearly miss her.
