Sharon Janette Yates, 79, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 19, 2018 at St.Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, October 28, 1939 in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and the Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Sydney Davis and Bro. She was preceded in death by Walter Howard (Father), Florence Davis Howard (Mother) and Hartley Wilson (Great-grandson).
Survivors include James B. Yates (Husband), Renee Somerville (Daughter), Shannon Yates (Daughter), Debbie Shelby (Arthur) (Daughter), Winston Yates (Patricia) (Son), 9 Grandchildren and 17 Great-grandchildren, Judy Waltermire (Sister).
