Barry K. Parks, 57, of Broomes Island, Maryland passed away July 21, 2017 in Prince Frederick, Maryland.

He was born on August 5, 1959 to the late Calvin and Grace Mister Parks.

Barry grew up and lived in the small community of Broomes Island most of his life where he shared many friends and extended family.

He is survived by his brother, Buddy Parks and an aunt, Sharon Miller.

Barry was known to lend a hand and give a smile to all who knew him. He worked as a skilled auto and boat mechanic, at several shops around Calvert County. Barry enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, NASCAR, and drag racing.

Please join the family on Saturday August 5, 2017, 11 AM at the Broomes Island School House where there will be a brief prayer service and meal to follow. If anyone desires please bring a dish, along with any good Barry stories to share.
