Emma Zetta Allen, age 80, of Pluto Road, Shady Spring, WV passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston, WV.
Born on September 11, 1938 in New, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ellis Bennett and Zethel Bennett.
Mrs. Allen was a homemaker, and was of the Protestant faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Billy Joe Allen; by sisters, Marie Bragg, Retha Redden and Lou Scott; a brother, Ellis Wade Bennett.
Those survivors left to cherish her memory include sons, Mark Allen and Timothy Allen, both of Pluto Road, Shady Spring; a brother, Jimmy Bennett and wife Elsie of Pluto Road, Shady Spring; two granddaughters, Jessi Williams and husband Josh, of Daniels, and Michaela Allen and companion Justin Cole, of Beckley; four great grandchildren, Raelynn, Ryder, Grayson and Jensen also survive.
The family would like to send out a special thank you to the Beckley ARH ICU nurses and the staff of the Select Specialty Hospital.
Family and friends may visit at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home at Shady Spring from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM on Friday, November 23, 2018. Graveside rites and burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity at noon on Friday with Rev. Ernie Junior Moye officiating. Pallbearers will be Justin Cole, Josh Williams, Lance Morgan, Jeremy Canaday and David Lilly.
