Hilda Adelee Jones, 89, of Warrensburg Road, Mosheim, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018, at Signature Health Care.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Jones was a member of Jackson’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
She was a loving, wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved to quilt and make clothes for her children.
Survivors include six children and spouses: Darwin and Peggy Jones, Judy Holt, Brenda Cansler and Merrill Woolard, David and Wilma Jones, Sheena Jones, Timothy and Angelia Jones, Anita and Jim Warren; grandchildren: Randall Jones, Alan Jones, Mark Cansler, Nicky Cansler, Scott Cansler, Tracie Sauceman, Alyssa McGinnis, Jessica Jones, Lindsey King, Samantha Elliot, Kaitlyn Knight, Marissa Jones, Cloyce Jones, and Jeremy Jones; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister: Ryta Piper of Iowa City, Iowa; two sisters-in-law: Claudia Jones and Joyce Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Carson Jones; a daughter: Dianna Miossec; son: Kevin Jones; parents: Cloyce and Mary Shelton; brother: Darrel Shelton and a great grandson: Andrew Cansler.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dale Cunningham officiating.
Interment will be in Jackson’s Chapel Cemetery Saturday at 11 a.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
