Russell was a member of Enon Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kaye (Smith) Sanders and daughter, Melissa Sanders Simmons; son, Rusty Sanders; sister, Katrina Moss. Russell also leaves 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his parent, Charlie Russell and Ruby Helen (Herron) Sanders.
The funeral will be held 12:00 pm on Wednesday, November 21 at Enon Baptist Church, Halls. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 21 from 10 am. until 12 pm. at Enon Baptist Church. Halls Funeral Home directing.
