Mr. Duane Eugene Brewer, resident of Wynne, departed this life on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at his home at the age of 57. He was born in Trumann on Wednesday, October 11, 1961, the son of Mr. Jimmy Brewer and Mrs. Imogene (Adams) Holland.

Duane attended Cross County High School and worked as a surveyor and farmer. He enjoyed duck and deer hunting and fishing, and loved spending quality time with family and friends. He liked sweets and chicken and dumplings, and will forever be remembered for his genuine and fun-loving character.

Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his mother, Imogene Holland; and a daughter, Lindsey Brewer.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Jimmy and Debbie Brewer of Trumann; two sons, Shannon Brewer and wife, Carrie, of Wynne, and Chance Brewer of Wynne; a step-daughter, Cede Bess; a brother Jimmy Brewer of Cherry Valley; three grandchildren, Jaylen, Serena, and Jordan Brewer; his ex-wife and best friend, Tanya Brewer of Wynne; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2018, in the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home chapel in Wynne with Brother Scott Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery at Harrisburg.

Friends may visit at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to service time.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Gill Fowler, Glenn Lee, Perry Johnson, Kelly Williams, Allen Lee, Tony Grayson, Tim Slocum, and Keith Martin. Honorary pallbearer is Perry Evans.
