Also surviving are one daughter, Pam Day of Springfield; one son, Tim Day of Springfield; three grandchildren, Tayler, Mackenzie and Jaxton; five sisters, Carolyn Smith, Vicky Beard, Jamie Kauffman, Karen Anderson and Cindy Dilly all of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Thomas was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of Tom Day Business Machines for over 30 years and was a member of VFW Post 10302.
Private services will be held.
