Father of (all with Jennie Rogers):
-- George Pomeroy Albright
-- Roy Eskew Albright
-- Wenoma Margaret [Albright] [Mosier] Collins
-- Ina Mae [Albright] Hardin

Oakwood Cemetery records confirm that he is interred there, but the exact location is missing from the records, and a grave marker has not been found.

Draft registration for World Wars I and II both list his date of birth as 20-Mar-1882, as do all of the censuses in which he has been identified with the exception of the 1900 U.S. Federal census, which gives it as Jan 1886. Notably, his death certificate gives his date of birth as 20-Mar-1886. The parents are documented to have married 13-Apr-1884 in Fort Worth, so the 1886 date has greater plausibility, especially since his mother would have only been about 11 years old in 1882.

Regardless of the actual year, his mother had him VERY young (the only census in which she appears - 1880 U.S. Federal - gives her estimated year of birth as 1871), and she passed away in August of 1890. The family story is that G.J. Albright took the two boys to their maternal grandparents' home and then disappeared. No trace of him to date has ever been discovered past 1890.

Available documents and firsthand family memories identify his occupation as a butcher/grocer on the north side of Fort Worth, TX. He passed away from a heart attack per the death certificate at the age of either 66 or 62, depending upon which birth date documentation you subscribe to.
