Diana Lucille “Hanner” Gibson, 66 of Wharncliffe, departed this life Sunday, November 18, 2018 from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born on August 24, 1952 at Iaeger, she was the daughter of the late John and Berchie (Dales) Lee.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister: Joann Christian.

Diana was a loving wife, she loved watching television and spending time with her dogs. She was a member of the Ben Creek Free Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her husband: Alfred Gibson of Wharncliffe; step-daughter: Tabitha Amberson; step-son: Alfred Johnson; brother: John (Connie) Lee of War Eagle; her dogs: Missy and Trixie. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 6 to 9 pm at the Ben Creek Free Pentecostal Holiness Church, where funeral services will commence on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Denny May officiating.

Burial will follow in the Gibson Family Cemetery at Glen Alum.

Diana will be carried to her final resting place by her family and friends.

She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
