Julia was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing games on her tablet, puzzles, cooking and baking. Above all she was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who adored spending time with her family.
Julia's memory will live on in all who loved her, especially her husband of fifty five years, Allen Murphy of Richard; her four children, Burley Murphy and wife, Karen, Thomas Murphy and wife, Mattie, Sharon Murphy and Steven Murphy all of Richard; her brother, Isaac Deaville, Jr and wife, Nell of Livingston, TX.; two sisters, Deanie Standford and Sylvia Adkins and husband, Bob all of Eunice; her fourteen grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Julia Miller Deaville; siblings, Lee Earl Deaville, Mary Lou Jordan, Olida Trahan, Henrietta Thibodeaux and Henry Deaville.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, November 20th from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, November 21st from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:30 pm on Tuesday.
